 Meet Laura

Founder of Peachable Paws, LLC

Laura started Peachable Paws, May 2021 in Palisade, CO. 

A Colorado State University graduate, Laura spent 20 years in Human Resources before following her true passion—working with dogs. Her journey began in 2005, volunteering weekends at a dog daycare and later becoming a certified Pet Partner with her Golden Retriever, Kelsea. Together, they visited nursing homes and participated in the Paws to Read program.

In 2018, Laura joined Roice-Hurst Humane Society as a Dog Behavior Counselor, mentored by behaviorist Marissa Martino. She also partnered with Alpine Behavior and Training in Glenwood Springs, leading puppy classes and private consults.

Laura is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) and is passionate about helping dogs thrive through positive, relationship-based training.
